Dr Stan firmly believes that everyone deserves a magnificent smile, and his goal is to create smiles for his patients that reflect the true essence of their spirit and personality. Dr Stan has seen first-hand how helping his patients who previously struggled with their teeth, with a great smile, has enhanced not only their self esteem but also the way they interact and engage with others.

Having over 15 years of specialist experience and highly focused training in various areas of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr Stan has placed in excess of 6000 implants using multiple systems such as Nobel Biocare, Camlog, AB implants, MIS, Biohorizon, Astra, Strauman and more.

Dr Stan provides various cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry with an emphasis on extensive full mouth rehabilitation procedures at his state of the art Bedford Drive Beverly Hills office. Dr Stan’s patients come not only from Southern California including, Beverly Hills, Orange County Los Angeles, Hollywood and beyond, but also travel internationally to his office to have him provide them with the finest dental care in the world.

Dr. Stan has successfully rehabilitated thousands of patients with partial and/ or total edentulism (absence of teeth) as a result of illness, age, tragic accidents or poor oral health, helping them to not only enhance their dental health, but their self esteem and confidence too.

Education and Training

In 1988, Dr. Stan graduated from California State University, with a B.Sc. Degree in Biology. Realizing his strong desire to help others improve their quality of life through their dental health, Dr. Stan completed a 4 year Dental Curriculum in 3 years, from the prestigious Northwestern University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1991. At both Universities, Dr. Stan was in the top 1% of his class, and in turn earned a place on the Dean’s List. After graduating from Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Stan received his Northeast Regional Board, allowing him to practice dentistry in 27 States. Concurrently, Dr. Stan obtained his license from the California Dental Board, so he could continue his studies and practice dentistry in the state of California.

In 2004, Dr. Joseph Stan earned and was awarded the extremely highly specialized License to perform Conscious IV (intravenous) Sedation, as well as Oral Sedation. This provided Dr Stan with the ability to not only deliver the most cutting edge and highly sought after procedures to his patients, but do so with the most comfortable and painless approach. With this license in Sedation, Dr Stan is able to utilize a number of effective techniques to make the patients’ experience as relaxing as possible.

Dedicating his career to the advancement of Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry, Dr. Stan’s passion for Dentistry led him to further pursue training with some of the world’s most prominent Dental Specialists. Dr. Joseph Stan completed a one-year Residency program in Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, under the supervision of world-renowned Dentist, Researcher and Professor, Dr. Bruce Crispin. After his Residency, Dr. Stan graduated from the, very rigorous, Misch Implant Institute Program - one of the world’s most advanced training programs in Dental Implants.

The Misch Institute has provided Dr. Stan with the expertise and specialized knowledge of Periodontics, necessary for complex implant treatments making him one of the few highly qualified and truly multi-disciplined Aesthetic and Implant specialists in the country.

Up-close and Personal:

Dr. Joseph Stan is married to his beautiful wife of seven years, Noushin. They have two amazing children, five-year-old Jonathan and three-year-old Sophia.

In his limited free time, Dr. Stan loves playing with his family. In addition, he enjoys numerous hobbies. He is an accomplished Photographer, Sculptor, Painter, Writer and Tennis Player.
